Clan Military Rankings

Alright in my opinion on clan suggestions is, we should have a ranking system based on the entire (Army Ranking System). This will allow each individual to earn themselves within the clan and each rank should come with a responsibility so that every member here at SwB has a sence of duty.

Hmm Yes a good idea but i will say this. With the ranking should NOT come more play time. As, the system and games are our own. Time played to aquire a certain rank (or to dedicate such time to playing while that rank) should not be applied to the rule. This I have found turns alot of ppl off (well in MMO's it does - as a guild leader there i never imposed a 'you must play for so many hours per week' rule)

I think Blue set it up to where it's based off post's and and junk on the forums.

I've got it set up now based on posts. There are also rep points you can assign members based on posts and game play. I have special ranks set up for members with exceptional gamer scores/ rep points. If there are questions about that, let me know. The special ranks are solely for brag rights and don't necessarily give you any extra privelages here as far as modding or anything goes. As the site expands, the folks with higher ranks will be considered first for a mod position, though.

Sounds like a great idea how many rep points and all does it take before you rank up?

When I get back to a computer (posting from my Blackberry) I'll be sure to post that info in here. The special ranks can be assigned be.a high gamer score and reputation given here, though....no matter how many rep points you have.

Well now i have a concern about that because i only have one game and almost all the acheivements for battlefield so how would i get high gamerscore i am in particulary a picky gamer and dont play much as you can tell when u compare my games.

That's why it's also based on reputation here. Participation in discussions and in the game are big helpers for special rank.

Well who determines wheather you rank up or not and how do you set the standards for ranking up how many rep and points does it take to rank.

Seriously this is a game and i think that your rank shouldnt be based on how much you write on the forum its the skills in the game that should be based on everyones rank that way we get a fair system.

Ranks should go along the lines of Commitment to the clan.
(Posts, time spent playing with other members, contributions
to the website, and helping other members with leveling up
and other clan related issues)
